With our new pop up space at Orakei Bay Village, what better opportunity to connect you with our makers through workshops?
We're excited to launch three workshops in June from Vidabela, Claybird Ceramics and Beautifully Frank.
Make your own terrarium in avshiny glass vessel with lush succulent and cactus plants that Vidabela sources locally. Use layers of moss, rocks and sand to create layers of sediment just like in real life.
Vidabela will teach you the signature way that they make their terrariums by clustering the plants together with lush green moss in between in order to showcases the different textures and colours of the different plant varieties available.Medium sized fish bowl terrarium $60.
Workshop runs for 1 - 1.5 hrs

Pre-made bisqueware brooches will also be available to paint if desired.
Brooches will be bisque and glaze fired for you and posted to you with a stainless steel brooch pin glued to the back of each brooch.

Make either a peace hand hoop or a floral hoop. (see pictures, note: it doesn't have to be a daisy!)
This includes step by step tutorial from textile illustration artist Frankie Meaden from Beautifully Frank, as well as everything you need to make an embroidery hoop; fabric, fabric pen, needle, thread, hoop & little gold embroidery scissors.Workshop is $100 and include al materials and a coffee of your choice from Bowl & Arrow.

Bisqueware mugs will be provided and you can paint whatever you like on your very own mug. Tumblers will also be available.
Underglazes in a rainbow of colours will be provided - your imagination can take your coffee cup to the next level!
After the workshop your mug will be taken away to the Claybird studio for a final glaze firing and posted back to you.Bisqueware mug or tumbler will be provided at $40 each. Additional mugs are $40 each.
