Support local with high quality and unique craftwares
The leaders of the bespoke market experiences are set to charm the public once again at the next General Collective event on March 26th.
An astonishing 270 independent designers and creatives from across New Zealand will take over the ASB Showgrounds for one day. It will be the debut for many of the hand picked makers and designers at a General Collective market, which has quickly become a leader in the fully curated scene.
The new and unique products offer the public a chance to support local and fill their hearts and homes with beautifully crafted homewares, jewellery, fashion, skincare products, children’s goodies and more. Customers are able to get more personal than the typical shopping experience and meet the makers behind their incredible brands.
The epic day out also serves up a delicious array of street food, wine bar and great coffee. General Collective is renouned for always featuring activities for children, including LEGO stations, live demonstrations and fairy dancers, there is plenty of space for prams and buggys. A parents room helps ease the pressure and allows space for parents and caregivers to relax and fully enjoy the day out.
Loads of door prizes and spot prizes are on offer again along with goody bags for the first 50 through the door!
The fresh and modern markets are turning the reputation of craft markets experiences on its head. Led by Rose Barbarich, General Collective was launched in Ellerslie, 2014 and are now the largest independently curated markets offering the best place to buy and support independent, locally designed products.
Currently held in Auckland, the markets attract people from across New Zealand. Social media, like Facebook and Instagram, offer national and international exposure for stallholders. The number of social media followers grows daily for General Collective.
General Collective holds markets at ASB Showgrounds just three times a year. They are a highlight in many diaries with a focus on high quality products and providing a whole-day experience for all who attend.
