Each Spring, Ellerslie Village celebrates the changing of the season with the Ellerslie Fairy Festival & Pirate Party – a whimsical event attracting families from all over Auckland.
For one Sunday in September, the already lively village is transformed with roaming fairies and pirates, live stage shows, free face painting and kids activities along with food trucks and of course, the General Collective Kids Market.
The market takes over the entire Arthur Street car park, with a carefully curated offering of high-quality kids clothing, toys, games, gifts and more – all created by some of Auckland’s best designers and creatives. Pop on a tutu or your pirate patch, grab your wand or sword and enjoy this free family event.
