After the success of the first General Collective Botanical Market in 2020, we are back at Glasshouse Morningside on Sunday 11 April with another plant-powered event, showcasing the best botanical themed work from our creative community.
We will have gorgeous plants and flowers to take home including clever kokedama by Coastal Flair, hanging planters and elegant orchids by Hansens 2020 ltd, along with stunning dried floral arrangements and fresh bouquets from Florence & Grace and Foxytwigs flowers.
If you don’t have a green thumb – we’ve got you covered too, there is plenty of botanical inspired gear you can wear, art you can hang or treasures you can gift! We’ll have a collection of garden-inspired pieces by Claybird Ceramics, limited edition watercolour prints by Leden, miniature botanical scenes from Moon Lighting, along with nature themed accessories and jewellery from local designers such as Lily & Daisy Designs and Foliage Addiction.
For edibles, there will be chocolate bouquets, hand-crafted by FRUNEY, bespoke cakes, cookies and baked treats too-good to eat from otti & olli, and Manuka, Rewarewa and Multi Floral Bush honey from Raglan’s Miel des Collines.
General Collective are all about celebrating creativity, connection and collaboration with contemporary market experiences. Whether you’re a plant lover or a lover of the botanical movement come and experience the wonderful talents of our local creative community in this captivating venue.
