The King’s Birthday Market & Whānau Festival is happening this King’s Birthday weekend, featuring the General Collective market, street food, and two-days of DJs and family-friendly festivities.
Alongside the market line-up featuring some of New Zealand’s most exciting creatives and designers there’s a host of FREE activities to enjoy, including a pop-up playground made entirely of recycled materials with Junky Monkeys, clay heart making and face painting with Rainbow Rascals, upcycled sewing workshops with Sew Love, a picnic play zone, and circus workshops with funsters 3 Ring Riot.
Whānau fun will be accompanied by DJs Dylan C, Huia, Stinky Jim and Sandy Mill who will be keeping the vibes high on the wheels of steel.
In true General Collective style, some of Auckland’s best street food vendors will be onsite to keep you well fed, with sweet and savoury options to discover.
Bring your girlfriends, your husbands, your aunties and your kids for two action-packed days of creativity, fun and shopping at the King’s Birthday Market & Whānau Festival.
The King’s Birthday Market & Whānau Festival is made possible with the support of Eke Panuku Development Auckland.
