General Collective’s emerging new talent

General Collective is proud to be a fierce supporter of local brands, providing a platform for emerging creatives and makers to showcase their products amongst likeminded people who value ethical, sustainable, and carefully created things.

“Our upcoming Lifestyle & Design Market has our most extensive line-up of emerging new talent yet and we can’t wait to introduce them to our audience. We have a really supportive community at General Collective and it’s great to give these up-and-coming makers and creatives the opportunity to showcase their products, shoulder to shoulder with some of our well-established brands and get that support as they’re starting out,” says Rose Barbarich, Founder of General Collective.

Be the first to experience these exciting new brands making their General Collective debut this August at the ASB Showgrounds…

Setting Moods have a cheeky range of unique hand poured torso candles made from 100% vegan and cruelty free wax. They are a sight to behold and make a perfect gift for the admirer of the female form!

Fresh Retro Love is all about the beauty of New Zealand wool, in particular the blankets from our childhood that so many of us remember. Kathleen from Fresh Retro Love is passionate about restoring them to their former glory ready for another round of warm beds, picnics and binge watching fireside snuggles!

If wood is your thing, you’ll love Love Bradbury’s personalised height charts, paper rollers, wooden décor and signage made from recycled timbre. A family business based in the Manawatu, these guys really do pour a lot of love into their work.

As always, there will be a fabulous array of food trucks, freshly ground coffee and even mulled wine from the bar. The kids will be entertained by the free activity stations, and we’ll have our gorgeous mini-glasshouse set up in true General Collective style to welcome you to the event – stop and take a selfie and soak up the buzzing atmosphere at our flagship market.

Come and see the difference!
