Step into a winter wonderland, Kiwi-style at the General Collective Lifestyle & Design Market this August at the ASB Showgrounds. Our flagship winter market promises to delight and surprise with close to 200 stalls, amazing food, free activities for the kids and entertainment for the whole family.
Stop by for a photo in front of our whimsical, beautifully decked out miniature glasshouse. Take a load off at the wine bar and experience the warmth and comfort of a top-notch mulled wine from Mrs Sippy. Make a beeline for Olas Arepas or Brooklyn Dogs for a hearty feed and get lost in the buzz of creativity as you take in some of New Zealand’s best creative brands across homewares, lifestyle, art, fashion and more.
With our most extensive line-up of emerging makers and creatives, be the first to experience these exciting new brands making their General Collective debut including; Big Whale with their fun range of mixed medium hand-crafted jewellery by Eva Jiang and Joy’s Handmade Boutique with their incredible, almost edible, miniature creations. If you have little ones, you’ll love Play it Forward – their toys are hand-selected by a teacher for optimum play potential (they even have magical potions!) and Emily Walker Illustrations who transports kids and adults alike into an imagined world with characters that are limitless.
We also have a huge cast of General Collective favourites who are sure to attract a crowd, including; Gerty Brown, Koko Body, Love Winter Jewellery, Claybird Ceramics, Coastal Flair and Otti and Olli.
As always, there will be a fabulous array of food trucks, freshly ground coffee and delicious goodies to take home. Keep the kids entertained at one of the many free activity stations dotted around the venue or send them along to meet Dragon Brothers creator James Russell, who might just be convinced to tell them a tale about his adventures with dragons.
Come and see the difference!
